The Project Manager will manage and oversee the day-to-day work of the Living Safely in Jackson Square (LSJS) Coalition. They will be primarily responsible for managing and supporting the coalition through ensuring the implementation of its work plan, building relationships with coalition members/organizations, ongoing facilitation and communication among partners, evaluation efforts, and handling logistical and administrative details for the initiative to function smoothly.
The Living Safely in Jackson Square Coalition is a cross-sector partnership in the Jackson Square area of Jamaica Plain that is focused on reducing the causes of childhood trauma that too often lead to adverse health impacts and can create obstacles to growth and achievement.
The Communications Associate will support the implementation of HSTF’s communications strategies, with a focus on targeted outreach to key constituencies: donors, participants (primarily youth), families, partners, and other community members. Working closely with the Director of Development & Communications, the Communications Associate will create content specific to these constituencies, mostly electronically via email, website, social media, and other organizational platforms. The Communications Associate will also support the maintenance of a strong, consistent brand for HSTF, both visually and through language.
This is a contracted position of 15-20 hours/week (excluding certain holidays and organizational breaks). This position will begin remotely and may transition to some in-person hours over the next year. Specific weekly schedule is flexible.
