We are now accepting applications for the Winter Session!

Jóvenes en Acción/Youth in Action (JEA) is our free, year-round program where participants receive Afro-Latin arts training (in Dance, Music, or Theatre), education and mentoring support, and civic engagement and youth organizing training. Participants also benefit from social-emotional support and resources.

During the summer session, JEA turns into a paid opportunity.

The school year sessions are open to the following youth:

Enrolled in 8th grade or High School

Ages 13-19 (*Youth cannot turn 20 or older before June of the current school year)

Live or go to school in Boston

JEA School Year Schedule

Fall Session: Sept. 23rd - Dec. 6th, 2024
Winter Session: Jan. 6th - Mar. 14th, 2025
Spring Session: Mar. 31st - Jun. 6th, 2025
