(Living Safely in Jackson Square)

Building a holistic approach for supporting residents in Jackson Square.

As a core member of the LSJS Coalition, Hyde Square Task Force will develop and guide a group of eight teens/young adults from the Greater Jackson Square area who want to make a difference in their community as youth organizers. The youth participate in team-building activities, organizing and leadership training, and identifying issues affecting their lives, families, and neighbors. Then, in coordination with adult resident leaders and Jackson Square stakeholders, they organize campaigns to create positive change in their community. 

This youth organizing opportunity comes with a monthly stipend!

Eligibility Requirements: 

Live in the Jackson Square neighborhood

Be between the ages of 15-19
