The ACT Experiment
Mark your calendars, everyone! Next week, we are putting The ACT Experiment to the test. Acción Community Theatre’s ensemble (a part of the Jóvenes en Acción program at Hyde Square Task Force) has been training via Zoom for the past five weeks for their upcoming theatre experiment with Chalkboard Theatre Project (CTP), a new play development company co-created by our very own Eva Farrel! We will have a youth writer, director, and actors in a Zoom room for 15 hours, and we will see what comes out on the other side! Performances of 5 original 10 minute plays will be held via Twitch, a popular streaming website.
