Our HSTF Ambassadors took the stage for a very special performance last week at Simmons University! Thank you to Boston Children’s Hospital for having us at the 2026 Collaboration for Community Health Annual Funded Partner Convening. We so enjoyed the event, especially getting to hear Dr. Robbie Goldstein, Laura Perille, and Sandra M. McCroom’s insightful words.

Whether long standing supporters of HSTF or learning about us for the first time, attendees of last week’s event were moved by the candid words of former JEA and Caminos participant, Jelitza. Jelitza shared that as she prepares to graduate from UMass Boston with her Bachelor’s degree this week, she can certainly say that HSTF has been there beside her every step of the way. We are so proud to have witnessed her journey for the past several years!

HSTF has made some new friends from the Jamaicaway Tower and Townhouses. Martha Matlaw and HSTF board member Jerry Rubin hosted a wonderful intimate fundraiser last week and started what will surely be a lasting relationship between HSTF and Jamaicaway Tower and Townhouses. Thank you to all the residents and friends who came to the event!
