More Boston Globe Support for Teen-Led Campaign

Today, the Boston Globe published an editorial supporting the campaign spearheaded by the teen organizers at the Hyde Square Task Force to build a $21 million Jackson Square Recreation Center on the border of Jamaica Plain and Roxbury.
The editorial states: “In an era of plenty in Boston, where poorer residents face getting squeezed out, what does it take to deliver a much-needed neighborhood amenity?”

Next, youth plan to meet with Governor Baker and Mayor Walsh and ask them to make this issue a priority and demonstrate the leadership to get this facility built – FINALLY.
