MCC GRANT AWARD: On September 13, 2004, the Hyde Square Task Force's youth dance troupe, Ritmo en Acción, became one of 14 new grant recipients through the Massachusetts Cultural Council's prestigious "YouthReach" arts education program. JACKSON MURAL PROJECT UPDATE: Working with mural artist Roberto Chao, local youth are putting the finishing touches on the first phase of a community mural at the Jackson Square T Station, a first step in efforts to respond to instances of violence in and around the station.
