Don't miss this opportunity to join the staff of the Hyde Square Task Force, an award-winning youth development organization based in the Hyde/Jackson Square neighborhood on the border between Jamaica Plain and Roxbury. The Grant Writer will make a significant contribution toward the ambitious development goals of the Hyde Square Task Force's five-year plan for mission-driven growth and expansion.
The Grant Writer is a full-time position with a competitive salary and opportunity for professional growth. The successful candidate will have superior writing and communication skills and be able to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. S/he reports to the Manager of Grants Development & Communications and works closely with other members of the Development Team.
Founded in 1991, the Hyde Square Task Force (HSTF) strives to build the skills of youth and their families so that they are empowered to enhance their own lives and build a stronger urban community. HSTF reaches 250 youth ages 6-21 every day, and more than 500 youth each year, through our high-intensity (6-15 hours/week) educational, arts, leadership, and civic engagement programs. HSTF’s youth and community development programs have been called “cutting edge” by the United Way and have received a Best Practices Award in Teen Leadership & Achievement from Boston After School and Beyond.
